Delivering goods and services overseas is not always simple and there are multiple factors and risks that a business will need to have prepared for.

Whether it’s customs compliance requirements, rules of origin, trade financing, or cargo insurance, companies and individuals involved in trade need to have a comprehensive understanding of all the myriad aspects involved.

In this 1 hour session, Kevin Shakespeare, Director of Stakeholder Engagement at the Institute of Export & International Trade, is joined by two of the Institute’s recent students to give advice on how individuals within a business can go about gaining the skills of trade.

Attendees will learn how they can use qualifications and training courses to better prepare themselves and their businesses for the challenges involved in exporting.
