Based on various experiences from the exporters I’ve dealt with, here are some of the traits/skill-set they look for in an agent or distributor overseas — Good digital/online presence, marketing capability, sector expertise, regional market reach (optional), enable to provide assistance with government requirement compliance, and good communication skills.
