Answer

The usual legalities apply plus a bit extra. First you need the Safety, Health, Fire, Sanitary etc Certficates appropriate for your industry sometimes, just to send samples. Then you need a contract, preferably bilingual corresponding to the Passport of the Deal. This ensures (promt) payment. You need to complete the SAD41 and transport documentation in the usual way. For a straightforward transaction this is usually enough. Assessment of customs duties is made by a customs officer. You cannot legally offer DDP terms although your buyer may ask for FCA at an inland destination. CIF is less complex if you can get it. Otherwise you need a logistics company that specializes in Russia.
