Tax implications selling online stationery design package to USA

Question

Our company offer an online stationery design package to companies in the USA. Once the company has designed and ordered their product we then use a printing company in the US to print and ship the final job.

As the final print job is being produced within the US do we therefore need to charge tax on this? If we don’t need to charge tax at the point of sale, does this therefore mean that the customer is liable to pay a local tax later, and if so then what wording do we need to use within our cart so as not to mislead the customer?
