Starting to export UK baby food & beverage brands
Question
I am looking to establish a new Export Company so I need a free consultation and advise of how to start, I do believe that there are a great demands worldwide of UK baby food and beverages, so I need the initial steps that I need to take into consideration as I do have list of most producers and manufactures of Organics baby food.
I am looking forward for your advise of how to establish such a concept and what I need to know more to go ahead.

Good Afternoon Hasan.
One of the first things to check are the countries you are planning to export to, are there any restrictions on importation of food products. For example, consumables into the UK sometimes need to have an import license and a Certificate from the relevant health dept. Otherwise when these products arrive in the UK they are seized by UK Port Health Authority and destroyed.
It is worth checking with the destination country (or buyer) to ensure your products do not contain any substances banned in the country. It can be a real paid.
It is not something your regular Freight Forwarding Company or Shipping Line will warn you about either. This is because for International Transport purposes all a carrier needs to know are the basics, whats the product, how many packages and type, gross weight and dimensions. With that we can ship anywhere in the world, but its up to the shipper or consignee at destination to ensure they can import the goods into that country.

Hi Hasan,
You may also need new labels applied to the products – this maybe a the ingredients list or a BBD label in the local language, who it is imported by even a nutritional table. we can then re-box or re-wrap the products with new outercase barcodes so they look like new.
