You might find out website and downloadable guide useful – it takes you through aspects of exporting including appointing agents and distributors, and has some sample legal contracts which also are a useful guide to the kinds of issues you need to think about when exporting.
Exporting Made Easy
Thanks for your response in am having a look at it as we speak
As a Freight Forwarder we are shipping a fair amount of Aluminium, Steel and Lead Scrap for UK Customers sending to India and Pakistan. You will find very few carriers will quote on this cargo even though it probably has a reasonably high value. The Freight rates carriers offer reflects their unwillingness to carry it mainly down to abandonment issues at Destination or the Importer whilst claiming they have the right paperwork (Import Licence) when the goods arrive the Licence is normally Invalid or expired. I can certainly send you by email our A-Z Guide on exporting Scrap, the implications and requirements. This will basically take you from Company registration, EORI Registration through to the shipping part itself. It has worked for many clients so if this is of interest please email me your details and I will get you moving.
