Product quality commitment in China

We are being asked to guarantee our product quality in China. Our concern is that the guarantee would extend after we have sold the product to a Chinese retailer and we have no way of knowing what they will do with the product.
What is reasonable to offer for product quality commitment and what should we be concerned about?
