Is the new Export Control Profession open to people outside the UK?

Answer

The Export Control Profession has predominantly been set up for professionals operating in the UK or in relation to the jurisdiction of UK control law – at least initially. However, this doesn’t preclude the profession being of value to people operating in different jurisdictions.

Professionals from overseas are welcome to contact us for more information about how membership in the profession could help them. We would also welcome professionals in other jurisdictions to consider setting up their own Profession in their jurisdiction and we would be open to discussing this in further detail.
