Is C88 acceptable as proof of export? Or do I need S8?

Question

It has been said that a C88 is acceptable evidence of export however I now learn that the S8 is the only true evidence?

Do we have to hold export evidence on file even if our carrier say they can provide it at request?

Answer

Hi Jenny
Normal proof of export is a copy bill of lading that all you need you can always ask for a copy customs entry as well. Its always best to keep copies on file.
if we can be of any more help or if you would like us to quote you for future shipments please do not hesitate to ask
