Ingredient translation selling to Germany
We are a small chocolate manufacturing company looking to export to Germany.
Are we able to export with our current UK packaging or are we obliged to provide German translation of the ingredient label. Who is responsible for this translation would it be exporter or importer.
Many thanks for your question – you will hopefully get an answer in a week or so.
For now, I recommend looking at the following webinar for tips:
your question and project would be best answered by one of our DIT (previously UK Trade & Investment) trade advisers in the east of England and by us at Enterprise Europe Network in the East of England too: we have language and culture specialists, experienced trade advisers and contacts in Germany to help you get the information you need for your export project, all free of charge.
Would you mind giving me a call to discuss in more detail? my telephone number is 01707 398024, or email me at email@example.com
the DIT (Department for International Trade) can be contacted on 01707 398398 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
