import used clothing to Morocco

Question

I am taking a convoy to Morocco in 4 weeks time. We are taking good quality used clothing to a poor village and to the mountain enclaves of Morocco where warm clothing is in great need. Please can you advise which paperwork I will need. Kind regards Denise.

Answer

Dear Denise

Thank you for your enquiry of 12 january about import of used clothing to Morocco which I assume is a donation.

In order to enable us to provide the right information, could you please let us know:

– the name and details of the beneficiary of this donation (a compulsory condition for the success of the exercise) and the region where the goods will be distributed
– details of the goods (weight, etc)
– details of your planned itinerary (plus port of entry)
– information on previous similar interventions in Morocco (as your website indicates) and details of your local interlocutors

We know by experience that all the requested above information will be needed before we can get back to you with the advice required.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards.
