I would like details of the regulations and paperwork required to export cured pork products from England to Brazil?
We have a client with retaurants in Brazil who is interested in purchasing our Iberico Pork Products for his customers there.
What regulations are in place for the exportation of such products to Brazil?
You may already have things sorted but I believe you will need to have certifications sorted with the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA) to send any product to Brazil. Your distributor can hopefully apply for this here and then import your pork products in. I hope your product is niche because there are a lot of large pork companies that operate here and may be in competition with you without facing import tax.
