We have just started a Buying, sourcing and procurement agency based in Leicester. We want to assist foreign buyers to source their product requirements from the UK.
The market we want to aim for is Africa and India. I am finding it very difficult to find contacts from these countries who specialize in this field.
Can anyone assist?

Our primary business is to assist clients from Africa and India to act as their buying agents for UK manufactured products, we do not specialize in a specific product category, we can source a single product or multiple products inquiry collate the importers product(s) and ship out to them.

However, the Kenyan market is a bit more reactive than active and when it comes to procurement companies, it is normally advisable to have a locally based partner/ representative to conduct business development activities as opposed to waiting for people to begin looking for various items.
I would urge you to look at taking the approach above rather than waiting for potential orders to come directly as this rarely happens and not unless an enquiry is send to us seeking a specific product, it would be hard to generate business.
