exporting salvage car from US to Tunisia

Question

Hi, I’m a Tunisian who lives permanently in UK. I need some advise about buying a damaged/salvage vehicle from the US and it to be shipped straight to Tunisia to then be repaired there and used there in Tunisia then, it will not be exported back out again, it will then be registered in Tunisia.
Why are the rules surrounding this? Is it allowed? How badly damaged can it be?, I rang Tunisian customs and they basically justsaid as long as its not hugely damaged its fine!, this isn’t clear enough!
Also will I find a problem on the V5 document? Does it say on the V5 doc that the vehicle is salvage?
