Hi there, thank you for any help.
I am going to be selling on Amazon.com (I am a small UK based business).
I understand I do not have to apply Sales Tax (e.g. US duties) as I do not have a physical presence in the US – is that correct?
Many thanks again,

Sales tax is different to import duty – think of it as a sort of VAT although it is not quite the same.
Different States in the US have different levels of Sales tax applicable at import.
If you are selling via e-coms you are required to add the relevant sales tax to your invoice.
There are moves to look at changing this but for the moment this is the rule.
Please feel free to contact me if you require rates to the USA for the physical move
We do lots of internet fulfilment work for both UK / Overseas Amazon clients from our warehouses near Heathrow / Farnborough and have facilities in the USA too.
