Exporting British meat to Iran

Question

Hi, I would like to export British meat to Iran as there is a big market for British meat. I do need help and direction to make it right and legal. Is there any help from you please . Thank you. Mahdy

Answer

Hello Mahdy

As the meat will be of animal origin, you will likely need an export health certificate, signed by a UK official vet, to accompany the consignment (among other documents).

A quick look at the website below suggests meat from cows, sheep and goats may be able to be sent. There may be requirements about country of origin, disease status, processing standards etc that need to be met.

Please let me know if you need more information
