Question

We have been asked to export a monthly container-load of our frozen ready meals to ex-pat workers in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

Before I agree to this I need to know the licences / permissions required and also if there will be any import duties, etc.

Answer

Hi Tony

You will need following: Health and Hygiene Certificate, if food is Halal then a Halal Certificate, Commercial Invoice and Packing List. There is no export licence required, you may also require a Certificate of Origin. You should check this with your buyers as they will know exactly what they need from you. We currently ship Frozen Lamb Carcasses to these areas weekly.

We are a freight forwarder not a seller ourselves. If you need any assistance please email or call me on the below details.
