There are some regulations in place for goods being shipped to Iran to ensure that goods comply with Iranian and applicable international standards. We are inspections agency Cotecna and we are mandated by the Institute of Standards & Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI) to control the quality of goods entering Iran.

Following the Iran nuclear deal “Implementation Day” on 16 January 2016, most financial and economic sanctions have been lifted, although some sanctions were not affected by the nuclear deal. Although there are fewer sanctions, those related to human rights, proliferation and Iran’s support for terrorism remain in place. If your goods are licensable you should apply for a licence in plenty of time. Each application will be considered on a case by case basis.
