Do Kuwait accept EC Certificate of Origins?

The basic answer is yes, but you should check with your customer if it will be sufficient for their import requirements. As although UK chambers of Commerce will stamp an EC Cert of Origin for Kuwait it can not be legalised, so exporters must be prepared to issue a letter of indemnity to proterct the chamber from any potential action against them if there is a problem at import.

I can arange for you if you so require, or arrange if require arrange for and Arab British cert of origin adn invoice to be certified and legalised.

My name is Chris Willers and I run an export services company called Access to Export Ltd based near Cambridge.
The answer to your question is yes Kuwait do accept EC Certificates of Origin but I would strongly advise that you check and confirm this on a case by case basis with the importer rather than working on the basis that an EC C of O will always be accepted. If the importer requires legalised documents then you will have to provide an Arab British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) C of O. Hi Julie

Just to confirm the respose given by Darren that you can use EEC certificates of Origin for middle east destinations including Kuwait and you will need a letter to indemnify the local UK chamber against any responsibility of the non clearance of goods.

I would advise that you check with your Kuwait customer to see what documents they require to clear the goods before proceeding as they may require Arab Documents legalised and certified

Whichever documents your require I can assist by typing the certificate for you and getting the indeminty letter and arrange the necessary certification as we have a dedicated chamber based in our offices
