Hi- my company has a mixture of routes to market for Russia. We manufacture & sell car engine oils & chemicals.
Some are buying on EXW terms & collecting from the UK; the remainder are on FCA terms collecting from a 3rd party warehouse in Finland.
In respect of the Finland route is it practical/feasible to deliver to the customer’s warehouse (DDP) or to their customs terminal (DAT)?
The short answer is yes. If you are talking about delivering to your client in Russia you can deliver to him at his local customs terminal (DAT) or directly to his door (DDP). If DDP however your client will not be the official importer of record which some companies don’t like and for others has no relevance.
