New competition launched with Bibby Financial Services as sponsors

sponsored by bibby

Open to Export has launched another Export Action Plan competition with Bibby Financial Services as the first primary sponsors. The competition is now open to all sizes of businesses, and there is once again a £3000 cash prize on offer for the winner. The deadline to enter the competition is September 29th.

The theme of this autumn’s competition is having a strategy for Brexit and we’re fascinated to see how businesses will plan for the different potential outcomes of the UK’s negotiations to leave the EU and what markets they will be considering entering over the coming years.

Bibby Financial Services are once again sponsoring the competition as part of their dedication to helping more new and inexperienced exporters thrive internationally.

Bibby are the UK’s largest independent invoice finance company and a trusted financial services partner to over 7,500 businesses in the country. Through their network of 18 local offices, they handle annual client turnover of £5 billion and in 2016, and have advanced more than £3.1bn to UK businesses, helping them to grow.

The competition is still open for further sponsorship and prize donations – please contact us if you are interested: [email protected]

Thrive Digital and the Institute of Export & International Trade are also donating prizes for the winner and finalists.

In addition to this, Thrive Digital will provide a “heath check” report on the winners current ecommerce, providing actionable advice for improvements and ongoing strategy.

The Institute will once again be giving 2 free places on their public training courses to the winner, which are worth £700. Each finalist will also get a year’s free small business membership with the Institute of Export & International trade.
