Action Plan winners launch Journey 2 Basic Skills project to revolutionise lives of millions

Former Export Action Plan winners Klik2Learn have launched a kickstarter campaign to ‘revolutionise the lives of millions of young people who currently have no access to education’.  

The company aims to raise £35,000 to develop mobile learning for basic skills in literacy, numeracy and English. The project is being is designed for parts of the world where there is no internet connection or even electricity. 

Klik2learn is a digital design company that specialises in education producing the first ever fully-digital SQA qualification. They work with education and training organisations to create blended learning content and courses for the digital native generation.

They are partnering with Blupoint, an exciting technology start-up from Southampton University who have already impacted the lives of 50,000 people in Africa. They are also working with partners in Africa and India.

‘Learners are at the heart of everything we do, and this project gives us the chance to work together to change many lives for the better,’ said Ann Attridge – founder of Klik2Learn.
