By Richie Santosdiaz

Many might overlook this but PR and international marketing, especially in a new overseas market, are very important for new and experienced exporters.

Further Support with International Marketing

Our ‘Reaching Customers‘ page is full of useful resources for companies entering new markets for the first time.

We have guides on routes to marketnew and old!; as well as guides to branding, ecommerce, tradeshows, social media, SEO, and more.

If you need more hands-on support in gaining the skills of international sales and marketing, you should look at the training courses provided by the Institute of Export & International Trade.

Their Introduction to Sales and Marketing and Advanced Sales and Marketing courses cover all the basic aspects, including how to develop and grow sales to new and existing export markets.

They look at how to approach a market and what needs to be considered as part of the export sales and marketing plan. They also consider the costs of getting products to market and also how to find customers and business partners.

Finally, this course will also give delegates a practical guide on how to conduct business meetings, field visits, trade shows and missions.
