About Gardener and Green Ltd

Gardener and Green have been around for a number of years.  This was a company set up as a platform for trading with China.  Initially it was solely looking at exporting locally sourced cheeses from Somerset to China.  There was a lot of interest from China but we were unable to find a suitable partner and despite best endeavours things started to stagnate.

After many unsuccessful months I eventually formed a partnership with a company in Zhejiang to the South of Shanghai.  After a couple of visits and several online meetings we have now developed a strategy to move forward.  They have a presence on-line as well as supplying into a number of food outlets.  This partnership, although in its early stages, promises to work well.  They advise what they are looking for when they receive requests from their customers.  I also contact them when I find a new producer and they will then trial the products with their customers.

Gardener and Green are putting together a database of all of the requirements for new exporters to this market.  As well as offering the initial supply opportunity, they are able to help with regulations, translations, visits and logistics.  They are becoming a one stop shop for new exporters or those wishing to expand into the Chinese market.

It has taken time to arrive at the position where we have a full service to offer, but now we are looking for producers who want to make the most of this exciting opportunity.
