Following our recent Export Action Plan showcase at GTR UK, we spoke to each of our competition finalists about their plans for export success.

What does your company do at the moment and what’s next?
For 10 years we have printed and supplied to the UK market, over the last 4 months we have built a 2nd website to export foiled products into USA. In July our main website will start to sell into the USA.
How are the exports going?
Really well, we have had to employ 2 more members of staff to keep up with the work.
How have you found the experience of the final today?
Our first time so I was very nervous. But, we will enter more competitions and improve our presentation from tips we picked up from other entrants and the judges.
What tips would you give to other new exporters?
Research your market, be prepared for the volume of customer contacts.

Due to our fantastic expansion, Aura print is moving to a larger work premises. In true Yorkshire fashion, we are relocating to a large mill in the centre of Huddersfield. You are welcome to visit us, but the vast majority of our business is online throughout the country.
