Exporter Case Study: Aura Print

Following our recent Export Action Plan showcase at GTR UK, we spoke to each of our competition finalists about their plans for export success.

Company name: Auraprint

Representative: Liam Smith

What does your company do at the moment and what’s next?

For 10 years we have printed and supplied to the UK market, over the last 4 months we have built a 2nd website to export foiled products into USA. In July our main website will start to sell into the USA.

How are the exports going?

Really well, we have had to employ 2 more members of staff to keep up with the work.

How have you found the experience of the final today?

Our first time so I was very nervous. But, we will enter more competitions and improve our presentation from tips we picked up from other entrants and the judges.

What tips would you give to other new exporters?

Research your market, be prepared for the volume of customer contacts.

About Auraprint

Aura Print is a family owned business, established in 2007. We are a digital printing company, producing wide format and digitally printed work; such as leaflets, banners and business cards. We have grown rapidly in the last few years, believing that excellent customer service is the root of our success. This is reflected in our excellent reviews on google of 4.9/5 and trust pilot 9.4/10.

We have our own inhouse printing equipment; constantly updating and adding to our inventory to offer the best quality and speed available to our customers. Recent investments include a new digital printer, and new wide format banner machines and welding equipment, supplying building side banners and wider orders with ease. Our product base is increasing all the time, to bring the customer everything they need from a printing company
in one place.

Recent investment in foiling equipment is producing beautiful, niche products that allows customers to give a great first impression. We are also selling into international markets for the first time this year, with great results being seen.

Due to our fantastic expansion, Aura print is moving to a larger work premises. In true Yorkshire fashion, we are relocating to a large mill in the centre of Huddersfield. You are welcome to visit us, but the vast majority of our business is online throughout the country.

When people find our excellent prices and quality, they tend to stay; as they feel valued and supported by our friendly, helpful team. If you are looking for a print supplier, do take a look at our website and contact us, we would be delighted to help you use the media of print to expand your business.
