We recently hosted our 10th Export Action Plan Competition final in London, with Age Check Certification Services Ltd taking home the £3000 cash prize sponsored by Bibby Financial Services. Since then, we’ve interviewed 10 finalists about their export plans and tips. Here we talk to Afritec International Ltd.

What does your company do at the moment and what’s next?

We do freight forwarding, import/export, supply and distribution, warehousing and logistics. Our next step is to grow and become a major player in the industry.

How are the exports going?

We are working on partnerships in the UK, and in supply to countries outside the EU.

How has the Export Action Plan helped with your exports?

It helped us to be more focused.

How have you found the experience of the final today?

It was good meeting possible new clients!

What tips would you give to other new exporters?

Afritec International Limited is an International Freight Forwarder, Import and Export, Supply and Distribution Services Company, based in Uxbridge, Middlesex, UK. We were founded in 2017.

Our services include sea freight, air freight, road freight, with custom clearance facilities.

Our products range from Alcohol Spirits (Templar Vodka, other spirits, energy drink), pharmaceutical, health, nutritional and beauty products. Afritec International Limited have been fortunate to be given the exclusive rights to these products for supply and distribution in the UK, (written agreement), and for the continent of Africa, (verbal agreement).

Our Clients

There’s very good interest from a major wholesaler in the UK, with 28 branches, with very good links to the USA, 514 branches. We have already had a formal meeting with our client in the UK, with a further meeting on the 20 March 2019, to finalise our agreement. We have agreed a purchase price with our client. Our intentions are to showcase our company and product in their branches around the UK, with the future supply to the USA.

There is good interest from other parties from South Africa, Ghana and Nigeria.

Our Aims

Our aim is to break into the world market, to supply and distribute our products. The UK only trades with 4% of the world markets, so there are huge opportunities available. This will create more trade for the UK, job opportunities and prosperity for all those involved.
