Best of the Blog – January/February 2016

News

The new Open to Export blog has been live for a month and there’s already been a flurry of activity and new content.

We kicked off the blog with the build-up, live tweets and report of the Export Action Plan final – a great event in which 10 great first-time exporters competed for the £3000 prize on offer. Charles Farris were the eventual winners and you can read a case study about them.

We also hosted a live ‘Ask the Experts’ Twitter Q&A following our webinar on the legal pitfalls of exporting. Answering questions were @JamieHillUK @VirtuosoIP and @ElizabethMWard1, who were later joined by @ChamberInt_Team and @ChamberInt_Tim.

The blog has also been opened up for contributions and we’ve so far had guest blogs about internationalising your SEO strategy for export, the double-edged sword of economic growth in emerging markets like Chile, tips for how best to negotiate with your international partners, and build-up to CEBiT 2016 – the world’s leading technology show for which Open to Export users are being given complimentary 5 day tickets.

The blog is a great avenue for new and existing contributors to publish new content for the Open to Export community.

Please do get in touch with us if you’re interested in submitting content to the blog by contacting [email protected].
