EEN East led a trade mission to the Czech Republic to help regional companies enter Central Europe’s most stable and prosperous market.
Brno Chamber of Commerce welcomed the delegation for meetings with Czech businesses at a business – to – business matchmaking event at the Central European Exhibition Centre.
The matchmaking event, organised by Enterprise Europe Network, drew companies from across the region, with 232 businesses from 10 countries participating in 1551 meetings over two days.
Mark Hofman, a European Trade Adviser who led the mission said: “The Czech trade mission was a wonderful opportunity for our clients to meet with potential partners from the Czech Republic and beyond”.
“We had a truly busy and interesting couple of days, in the Czech Republic it’s essential to have a ‘man on the ground’ and I hope the delegation have met their match in Brno”.
The delegation consisted of companies from the construction, civil engineering, transport and logistics, management training and service sectors.
UKTI Prague, KPMG and the Brno Chamber of Commerce also delivered an in – market briefing for the UK delegation, outlining the potential business opportunities available for British companies in the Czech Republic.
