In 2009, Sellers Engineering started working with UK Trade & Investment to grow its export business.

With help of funding from UKTI’s Passport to Export programme, the company attended the Middle East Waste Summit in Dubai. There, it met Dulsco, a well-respected local waste management company, with contracts across each of the Emirates and in Qatar. The two have since signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Dulsco is now acting as Sellers Egineering’s local agent and distributor in the Middle East.

Further funding from UKTI helped with the costs of translating the company’s product brochure into Arabic, and editing its promotional DVD with an Arabic voice-over, for use at client presentations.
