From the outset, Digital Barriers recognised the importance of international sales. As part of its sales strategy in Asia Pacific, Digital the company focused on developing its business in Hong Kong, where law enforcement agencies appreciate the practical advantages of sophisticated surveillance technologies. It drew on an established network of local contacts and the guidance of UKTI DSO for further introductions.

“The DSO has a good knowledge of each individual agency within the Hong Kong law enforcement community and is able to give us targeted advice,” says Manuel Magalhaes, Digital Barriers Vice President, Asia. “We speak monthly with our UKTI DSO advisers and they are effective advocates of our products.
