Getting into the market

Chile is ranked the ‘freest’ economy in Latin America and 7th most free in the world (Economic Freedom Index 2012). It is the easiest country in Latin America with which to do business, and 39th in the world (World Bank Ease of Doing Business Ranking 2012). Chile is also perceived to be the least corrupt country in Latin America, and 22nd least corrupt in the world. Try to meet your trading partners personally. Chile is a face to face culture and Chileans have a strong preference for doing business with somebody they have actually met. Moreover, Chileans will often open up in personal contacts and give useful information that they are reluctant to commit to paper. Introductions by a third party, such as a bank or a consulting firm, are often a key prelude to conducting business in Chile

The prequalification process for the hospitals programme is currently opened.
