Slovenia benefits from excellent infrastructure, a well-educated workforce, and a good, central location between western and eastern Europe. Most of Slovenia’s trade is within the European Union.

Slovenia has access to 4.2 billion of EU funding until 2013 which is mainly to be used for the infrastructure development, environmental projects and regional development.
