Family-run Reids of Caithness has been baking biscuit products since 1966. Using the finest ingredients possible, time honoured handcraft baking methods and traditional recipes, Reids’ premium quality products are now exported worldwide.
Reids was created with a philosophy to deliver fresh, great tasting products, whilst offering exceptional customer service in terms of sales, delivery and product range. Winning many prestigious awards, including 3 Gold Stars and Best Scottish Speciality for their All Butter Shortbread is testament to the success of the Reids product range and the popularity of its products has enabled Reids to become a global brand.
In 2010, while exhibiting at Speciality Food Show in London, Reids was approached by an international buyer and conversations swiftly progressed to successful international trading with a total of 13 different countries (Japan, Canada, USA, China, Russia, Dubai, South Korea, Bahrain, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Germany, France and Kuwait).
International trade now accounts for 40% of the Reids business and this is set to increase by an additional 25% by the end of 2015.
Following on from its export success, Reids’ Private Label companies have since chosen the company as agent to export the full Partridges of London Ltd brand. Reids now exports Partridges to Dubai, Hong Kong, Germany and Malaysia.
