Bangladesh – Opportunities in the construction sector

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) Dhaka is organising a roundtable discussion on “Scope & Opportunities in construction sector of Bangladesh” on Wednesday 4 December 2013 at the British High Commission, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The objective of the discussion is to identify the areas and to increase awareness of the opportunities available in Bangladesh. Also to make key decision makers in Bangladesh aware of UK capability and expertise to have an idea of the genuine opportunities for successful business collaboration/engagement in the infrastructure/construction sector in Bangladesh. The discussion session will be evolved around the following areas of opportunities;

 Health & Safety in Modern Construction

  • Residential, Commercial and institutional buildings
  • Underground Railways
  • Over ground Railways
  • Ports  
  • Flood Protection Scheme
  • Highways and Bridges

UKTI had been organising this round table discussion for last two years where numbers of UK and Bangladeshi companies attended and found the sessions very useful. The discussion session will be from 10:00 to 12:30 pm (Bangladesh time) which will be followed by a Lunch.
