Anglesey Sea Salt Company had a GREAT Week in Hong Kong

The Anglesey Sea Salt Company is a small family run business based in North Wales with an impressive client base and exports to twenty two countries worldwide. The company applied to attend the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) GREAT Week to Hong Kong to further their export potential along with 32 other companies.

Alison Lea-Wilson, co-founder and owner attended the mission making it “my target to meet a new distributor.” She stated “Hong Kong is very open to British products and there seems to be a great opportunity to do business. The support from UKTI was excellent.”

Attending the Mission Alison met a range of potential partners, retailers and chefs and has “high hopes of bringing them to fruition.” Following participation she stated “I am following up leads but hope to be sending out an order in the next few weeks. I will definitely try to attend future UKTI events.”

In summary, “for a small business GREAT Week Hong Kong has enabled us to access potential partners cost effectively and relatively easily. We are very grateful for the help we have had and continue to receive from UKTI.”
