Mike Josypenko / The Institute of Export

Mike Josypenko has been involved in various aspects of international trade for more than 30 years. Initially Mike worked in the field of international transport and freight, in a variety of operational, sales and managerial positions for a number of major freight and logistics organisations in the UK and overseas.

He subsequently moved into export sales with a UK supplier of security printing and security product solutions, developing new business streams in Europe and beyond, and dealing with Blue Chip clients, distributors and agents.

Most recently, Mike has worked for a leading trade association, helping companies to expand their export activity, offering help and advice on overseas markets, sales, Customs, regulatory and other export issues and running a programme of overseas sales activities. He now works for the Institute of Exports, in the role of Director for Special Projects.

Mike possesses a wealth of practical experience in various elements of international trade, including export sales, freight, logistics and Customs procedures, as well as regulatory and compliance issues. He has experience of selling into many emerging and growth markets.

David Salter / RBS

Global Trade Finance, RBS/NatWest

David has worked across the Retail, SME and Corporate Banking sectors for 17 years. In that time he has held customer facing roles and positions in marketing, communications and the bank’s product management functions. This wide experience has helped him build a thorough knowledge of customer needs which he now puts to good use in his current role as a developer and manager of the bank’s product propositions and solutions to help UK businesses to export and import more efficiently.

David is also a Fellow of the Institute of Internal Communications.
