Good Morning Janet,

A very high volume of customers in Nigeria now use the Internet to buy products from abroad although please be aware there are a hell of a lot of scams going on. We at STI Global ship customers goods of all varieties to Tin Can Island, Lagos and Apapa Port. I have a very, very good agent in Lagos who can clear and deliver goods to destinations in super fast times avoiding the heavy penalties people get due to customs delays. They are also able to check out the viability of the customer you want to do trade with before you make any contracts.
As we have weekly services into Nigeria by Sea and daily by Air we have some very good prices at present. You may contact me on the below email for further information and details of my agents.
My email address is; irobery@stigl.co.uk
Best Regards

Ian

Internet World Stats shows that the percentage of use of the internet by Nigerians in 2000 was 0.01%. However this appears to have grown to a whopping 26.5% in 2011 signifying a growth of 26% or so over 10 years. To my mind there is no doubt that we will continue to see exponential growth in the internet usage in Nigeria which as you know is the most populous country in Africa as well as the West African sub-region.

Do let me know if you need any assistance with your market entry in Nigeria. We can assist with such thing as the Incorporation which you will need to trade in Nigeria including the opening of either a domiciliary or non domiciliary bank account which you may require to trade successfully online. You will also require such other regulatory compliance including but not limited to NIPC registrations and Certificate of Capital Importation. We would need to assess your requirements to be able to advise accurately.

You can reach me or my colleagues on + (0)1482 616 616.

All the very best with your venture.
