Thanks

Dear Shazad
if you havenot yet appointed a selling agent or found a USA importer to take your products
perhaps UKTI in the USA can provide you with a list of companies that could help you.
Please be aware that some of your products may be hazardous which would have to be
declared to shipping line before shipment with correct documentation.
if we can be of any help with any shipping matter whether to USA or not please contact
us directly on 01263 513127 or email colin.crown@ntlworld.com

Mark Walker, on behalf of UKTI London in London.

Hi Shazad,

There are many ways to export your product and service into the USA, but it’s quite a large area and due to individual state laws (as well as federal laws) it helps to have someone who can advise you.
I work for the UK trade & Investment London team which are setup to offer just this sort of advice, and our service is free to UK registered companies, Fell free to drop me an email privately to discuss in more detail. markwalker@uktilondon.org.uk
The First step I would suggest is try to think about why you want to export! Is your company financial stable enough to undertake expansion through export, do you have enough research and money to do the things need to increase your chances of successful export, like Market advertising, Internationalising your website and employing/targeting staff dedicated to developing the market.
The Second step I would suggest is to identify which states could have the most interest in your particular offering? Think about your product and service why would a customer in that particular state want to purchase your Oil’s etc. try to build a picture of what your ideal customer is and then we can use this to find potential customers in the US.
The Third step is to decide what route to market is for you, should you appoint an agent, trade directly (e-commerce), look for a distribution partner, or think about your own company in the US.

Sue Marsden Gilpin, on behalf of UK Trade & Investment USA in United States.

Dear Shazad,

Mark Walker provides some excellent advice and thoughts to consider, when doing business with the USA. UKTI provides a range of bespoke offerings to UK companies to assist with market entry, including our chargeable tailored consultancy service (OMIS - Overseas Market Introduction Service). This can include market information (research/competitors), contacts (agents/distributors/partners), relevant events (product launch/workshops), etc. Please check the OMIS website once you have taken all options into consideration. Good luck.

Hi Shazad,

Hope this msg finds you well. It would be great to set up a quick call with you to see if there's anyway our company can be of assistance once your product is cleared to land Stateside.

We'd be happy to assist you in creating the US infrastructural needed to support the products/business to handle growth. Providing the intermediary US resource as an extension of your company until self-sustainable and cash-positive. We'd be happy to work in a desired capacity (finding and meeting with distributors to introduce the product, promotion via shows, pr and creative media, etc.).

Simply let me know if you'd like speak in great detail.

Thanks and Regards,
Mike
