Answer

Hi John

I would say that the prospects are quite good in Malaysia and Singapore. Having a pet is usually something which people of higher income would tend to do and people treat their pets (as they do in the UK) as part of the family.

As for for nutraceuticals for human consumption, the market is nearing saturation as people do spend a lot of money on vitamins and health supplements. However, there are opportunities if you have a strong brand.

Let me know if you require any further assistance. Always happy to have a chat.

Answer

Hi John
Not commonwealth I know but we have been working with a company sending a lot of human products to USA and they are looking at expanding in to other markets including Commonwealth so there does seem to be a demand.
I am sure you are aware if you do any panel PX work already but anything with animal products in may need a vet export health certificate (we have found fish oil, gelatine in capsules, milk powder mainly) +- import permit, depending on the country.
Hope that helps – let me know if need further advice
Andrew
