I’m in the process of liaising with my colleagues in the commercial section of the British Embassy in Dubai who can help to find contacts within the UAE.

Attending overseas conferences and trade shows is a good way of meeting new contacts and learning more about the markets you are interested in. UKTI’s Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) provides grant support for eligible Small & Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to attend trade shows overseas.

Sunita should be able to provide you with advice on the opportunities in the market and a steer as to how she can help identify suitable contacts.

UKTI also provides support under the Trade Fair Acccess Porgramme (TAP) for UK education providers to exhibit at the Gulf Education Supplies & Solutions (GESS) exhibition from 5-7 March in Dubai. This might be another option to consider as a possible route to market?
