Transporting Trophies to Australia

Question

Hi Everyone,

I need to send out about 25 large boxes of trophies to Australia – currently being quoted £2500 for this……..are there any alternative methods of sending this consignment that would be more cost effective?

Answer

Hi Karen

The cheapest way would be by Sea freight but this could take over a month to deliver, however using a broker (like us) could be much cheaper than going direct to the couriers for faster air services with carriers like UPS, DHL and FedEx to Australia. What are the weights and dimensions of each of your parcels and what’s the delivery zip code. I’d be happy to give you a spot price.

Answer

Dear Karen,

Depending on how urgent the consignment is, shipping by LCL seafreight would be the cheapest option, but transit times are 4- 5 weeks, Airfreight to arrival nearest airport at destination would be the next cheapest option if goods required quickly and then courier door to door would be probably the most expensive option. The prices would depend on the size and weight of the consignment and your selling terms.
I would be happy to you give you a no obligation quote as a comparison for the above.

Best regards
Darren
