MD 20 20 flavoured drink

Question posted by Allan Bowdler, on behalf of G Zembashis & A Stathis in Cyprus

Can anyone tell me who I can contact to export this drink from UK to Cyprus. I seem to have trawled the whole web but no results. Please do not get this confused with Mad Dog energy Lemonade.

Thanks

Allan

Thank you for your question.

Can you clarify, whether you are seeking suppliers of MD 20 20 that can fulfill an order to Cyprus or whether you are looking for support with transportation of an existing order.

The more detail you can provide the better the Open to Export community can help.

kind regards

David

Hi.

We are a logistics company based in the UK and we ship frozen, chilled and ambient food products on a weekly basis to Athens, Greece. We also have a forwarding agent in Athens who arranges onward shipping to Cyprus. If you can email your delivery location details we can quote for the logistics.

With regards to MD20/20 we have a client in the UK who distributes this product, so again if you provide details of volumes and flavours etc I will obtain quotes.

Thanks.

Hi Allan

Have you tried to make base with a company called GB Foods. I think they were based in
Protaras, they supply all the supermarkets in Cyprus with food and drinks.

Dear Alan

I am not sure whether you are based in Cyprus or the UK. I have tried to contact you via a telephone number I have obtained from Yellow Pages for A. Zembashis, in Protaras but there was no reply.

I am a member of UKTI and basd in Nicosia at the British High Commission. We would like to help with your enquiry but we need some more clarifications on it before we suggest possible ways.

Happy to discuss over the telephone or email if you wish. My details are tel +357 22861341 and email athena.achilleos@fco.gov.uk

Look forward to hearing from you
Regards Athena

HMRC Advisor, on behalf of HM Revenue & Customs in G67.

For exports of wine outside the EU, you will need to prepare and submit a Customs export declaration.

Export declarations have to be submitted to the Customs computer system known as CHIEF (Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight) electronically. Details of the current requirements for completion of the declarations can be found in Volume 3, Part 1.9 of the UK Tariff however we would recommend that you contact a freight forwarder who can prepare and submit declarations directly onto CHIEF on your behalf.

You will need to obtain a Customs commodity code for the goods, and depending on the type of goods involved, you may require more than one.

More detailed information on the above can be found in our Public Notice No.275 a copy of which is available from our website at www.hmrc.gov.uk > Quick Links – Library, Official Statistics > Publications > Notices, Information Sheets and other reference materials > Import, export and international trade > Public Notices > Yes to open site > Scroll to notice required if necessary.
