Hi Katherine,

Local partnerships certainly help. They can alleviate the labour-intensive and expensive nature of building your brand and relationships directly, from scratch, and introduce you to existing networks and clients. There are many networking groups, such as the British American Business Council (www.babc.org), that might be helpful.

As a company in the climate change/'green' space, you may also find it financially beneficial to work with a US partner, e.g. access to State or Federal funding. As a foreign entity, these options may be otherwise unavailable to you.

If you would like to have a discussion with one of our teams about your aims for the USA, please let me know and I would be happy to make an introduction.

Best,
Sue
