Question posted by laeeq ahmed, on behalf of M & M Enterprises Pvt Ltd in PE1

I am planning to set up a business where I can buy scrap metal and carboot boxes from UK and export to Pakistan. What sort of documentation I would need.

Good Morning,
Where would you be loading from and to? We have operated these types of exports in the past but there are licences and protocols that you must follow. What grade of scrap is indicative of the amount of red tape you may face. I can put you in touch with my office in Pakistan if you want and they can help to guide you.

thanks

Good morning

Shipping such items can oftemn result in many carriers refusing to accept on their vessels / aircrafts due to import restrcitions in countries of origin.

We are a shipping agent and can help with the export of your products so if you need any help in shipping or prices then please contact us giving us full details of where you are loading from and shipping too and exact nature of cargo.

Kind regards
