What is the nature of your question to the Open to Export Community? Are you seeking quotes for transportation?

Perhaps you can provide more detail about your plans and what you would like support on.

The more information you are able to provide the more the community will be able to support you.

HMRC Advisor, on behalf of HM Revenue & Customs in G67.

Information on the Customs requirements for exporting is given in HMRC Public Notice 275. All notices can be found on our website www.hmrc.gov.uk under Quick Links > Library > Official Statistics – Publications – Notices, Info Sheets & Other Reference Materials > Import, Export & International Trade. The Public Notices are in numerical order.

I would also suggest that you contact the Pakistan Customs Authorities to ascertain if there are any import restrictions on such items.

PETER BRIALEY, on behalf of STI GLOBAL LOGISTICS LTD in SS13.

Hi Hasan,

It is still a stumbling block sending tires to Pakistan or any nation at present due to the "Dumping Risk". New tires are not such a problem but used and part worn are a big issue with some shipping lines. We ship a fair amount of used tires for some customers and have good rates on them too.
Most carriers require a letter of intent to ship, an indemnity to the carrier accepting all charges should the goods be abandoned at destination. But other than that there are no special customs requirements.

Call me on 01268 289653 or email me on irobery@stigl.co.uk and I can certainly help you further.

Best Regards
