I am looking for some suitable accounts software to track export orders

Question

I am a new company, exporting food/beverage products from UK to the Middle East. I need some accounting software which is suitable for tracking orders for this business.

Answer

I am not sure that I would use an accounting package to track orders. Something like MANSYS is a bespoke system will be able to do all your documentation and add a bolt on for an accounts package such as Sage.

Hi,

A good package for a small exporter to manage export orders might be e-z Consign. You can setup and try an account for free at www.4-exim.com
It produces standardised export documents, Certificates of Origin via your local Chamber of Commerce and can even submit the NES Customs declaration to HMRC when you are ready to take that on yourself.

Specifically related to your question the system has a set of action dates to flag any orders overdue on their next action..

Please let me know if you would like a demonstration or just a general chat about managing your exports.
Thanks
Ian James.
