We sell herbal teas which we would like to export to South Korea. What are the steps for getting the teas registered?
You will need to ensure a UK export declaration is made for the goods. Either by your firm or a freight forwarder who can take the goods from A to B and hopefully provide and end to end movement.
Then the goods will require clearance through South Korean customs. They may have specific paperwork requirements?
In term of registered, what do you mean?…A Binding Tariff Agreement. Or Food Standards Agency? Other?
The South Korean Embassy may be a good source of information or UKTI and the British Embassy.
Hope that helps
