Exporting vehicles to East Africa

Question posted by Anjum Shahzad, on behalf of MASE Wholesale distributors in London

I am interested in exporting vehicles to East Africa. I have a stock of vehicles ready for export all good quality and high value.

Can anyone signpost me to a UK distributor or alternatively offer advice on selling/exporting the vehicles myself?

Thank you.

Howard Marsh, on behalf of Descartes in SO40.

We have customs declaration system option called. …. Webdecs ‘Lite’. This covers the necessary legal declarations to UK Customs for Non EU exports.

This is designed to appeal to the very low and low to medium export declaration submitters. Option 1 - allows you to submit less than 5 a declarations a month at no cost. Within that option you have the option to buy credits via PayPal e.g. if you have a busy month at a fixed rate (cost of credits) per declaration . Option 2 – again allows for a ‘pay as you go’ using PayPal but is designed for say 15 -25 per month and operates with a lower rate per entry. Both these options have no minimum fee.

Use of the service is based on the client owning an EORI number, a CHIEF system (HMRC) role and location and registering for a National Export System (NES) Govt. Gateway ‘account’.

Or if you prefer we can provide details of freight forwarders who use our system and can provide you with the complete service.
