Exporting formula babymilks to Vietnam

Question

Me and a friend are considering exporting baby formula milk like Aptamil and SMA to Vietnam.
There is a high demand for baby milk in Vietnam.

We need advice on export controls and on any import duties, restrictions that might apply to these transactions and also what regulations must we follow?

This might be considered as an opening a new business opening.
Thanking you all in advance

Dear Yemi

Information on the Customs requirements for exporting is given in HMRC Public Notice 275. All notices can be viewed on the GOV.UK website at www.gov.uk by typing ‘Notice 275’ in the search box and selecting the following links from the search results: > Notice 275 “Customs export procedures” a guide to UK export procedures using the National Export System.

Further detailed information regarding exporting goods outside the EU can be found by using the following link https://www.gov.uk/exporting-goods-from-the-eu-to-a-third-country-outside-the-eu

And Depending on the Commodity Code these items may require an export licence from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

I would also contact the customs authorities in the country of import to ascertain if they have any import restrictions on such items.
