Dear Debbie,

Thank you for your question.

Open to Export is a web service for UK companies who wish to export and do business overseas. You may not get the response you are looking for here.

You might find the customs pages on the Kenyan Revenue Authority website useful.

Hello Debbie,
It is not impossible but it needs a lot of planning. You will need a variety of health and breeding certificates for starters. Transport planning to ensure the welfare of the poultry in transit (not all airlines will take live poultry).

The purpose of the import (for showing, for breeding, for eating???) will need to be made clear and the status of the importer of record will need to be investigated to see if he/she is legally permitted to import live poultry.

Then there will be specific customs regulations both for export from USA and import to Kenya.

Regards,
Susan
